We manufacture these comforters in three warmth levels: lightweight summer comforters, regular weight year-round comforters and extra warm winter comforters.

Our lightweight comforters are made for homes in which the heat averages around 65-70 degrees at night, or for warmer weather. These would be equal to the warmth of approximately one wool blanket or two light cotton blankets. Lightweight comforters are good for summer and warmer climates.

The regular weight down comforters are the most popular weight levels and are also referred to as year-round or all-season down comforters. They equal to the warmth of approximately two wool blankets, or a blanket and a quilt. Because of the high insulating abilities of these comforters, many people keep it on their beds year round.

We also offer extra warm Hungarian down comforters available for those who love toasty warmth during the cold winter nights or if the room temperature is below 62 degrees. Their warmth level is the same as approximately three wool blankets, or an electric blanket, or two heavy quilts. These are used in colder climates or by people who prefer to sleep in a colder room and still want enough warmth.
